I didn't have a chance to watch, but it seems like utter shit from OPPO and Jalop posts.

I sent Dusty Ventures a message about it, hopefully he'll be able to give us an anwser. I have a feeling he watched at least some of it.

Edit: Heres the answer from him.

i missed the final hour or so, but what i saw i enjoyed. there were a few drivers who i feel need to go bac to drivers' ed before they get back on a track (spinning, then pulling out into traffic), cautions could potentially be shortened, and at one point the wrong car was given a drive-through penalty, so there are a few things that need to be tidied up, but all in all it was pretty good. i think a lot of the people complaining are upset about the lack of LMP1 cars, dreaming about the Audi R18s going around Sebring and such, but for most of the year Audi doesn't do the American endurance races and LMP1 is a two car field. There's no point keeping a class if it's only going to have two competitors.

Short answer: lots of PC and GTD cars spinning then re-entering the racing line unsafely. It was the epitome of why Level 5 dropped out.

It's on Fox Sports 1 right now , but it looks like they edited the crazy parts out.

Uh, 5 hours of cautions, including 30 minutes in the last how with 25 of the minutes after the incident had been cleared. A couple instances of wrongful penalties. Porsche/Core/Flex-Box domination.

Nearly half the race was spent under caution because prototype challenge and GTD drivers suck badly and crashed a lot. Also TUDOR's caution regulations are too extensive and eat up time. That said, yay 911 #912 for GTLM and Ford got an overall victory since the GT40.

The first half was uneventful. The second half was was typical Sebring. Many turn 17? accidents. The bad part is that were quite a few bonehead moves by the racers that ended up taking out some good cars needlessly and could have caused some serious injuries. The corner workers were pretty much ignored and hence some really stupid moves were made. All in all, it was a good race.

There's definitely a point in keeping LMP1 because that's what a lot of people come to see. I know that there were only two cars last year so maybe Sebring should be a stand-alone event like Le Mans was for almost two decades. This sports car season will have only eight events with LMP1, all those events are in the WEC.

That might be. I'm not saying this or that about it, I only forwarded the answer I got from Dusty Ventures :)

I understand :) I guess it's every logical to get rid of LMP1 from an economic perspective
